Sue Kidby is setting a real example for fundraisers following the loss of her precious long-term partner in June from pancreatic cancer.
Sue made contact with us not long after her bereavement and said that her loss and sad experience had made her determined to raise money to fight the disease. And she was as good as her word!
Within weeks she and a friend had set a date for a car boot sale and had gathered plenty of items for sale. And, although the planned day was a washout due to torrential rain, Sue and friend were back in the thick of it the very next week.
The result was an amazing £200 raised for the Fund – thanks Sue!
