Jen Patterson, our hugely successful fundraiser and supporter from Teesside, has highlighted the wonderful thoughts and deeds of eleven-year old Lucy Elliott, also from Teesside.
Jen met Lucy’s mum at a local Pilates class who gave her an envelope with £6 in it. Lucy had made some cakes at home and sold them ‘for John’ (Jen’s husband, who died from pancreatic cancer in 2013). Although Jen didn’t know Lucy she thought we should be aware of what she had done in aid of pancreatic cancer – we think it’s absolutely wonderful, thank you Lucy. Picture shows Lucy in the kitchen.
