Julie Wilcock, who lost her mum, Margaret, to pancreatic cancer in 2017, has set up her own fundraising and awareness fund. Called ‘Be Wise’, it will be drawing attention to the signs and symptoms of the disease. There is a website, which has lots information about what to look out for.
The Elizabeth Coteman Fund, who have supported the family after Margaret’s diagnosis, will be a beneficiary of funds raised by the new initiative. Julie began fundraising for The Elizabeth Coteman Fund before losing her mum and is a tireless campaigner in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
