With support from Tesco in Newmarket, a major fundraising event for The Elizabeth Coteman Fund was staged in the store by Julie Wilcock (see ‘Special Testimonial’ piece above) on 11 February. The event attracted massive publicity and was enthusiastically supported by shoppers and sponsors. In addition to the £2050 raised, good levels of engagement were achieved with members of the public wanting to know more about pancreatic cancer.
