Referred to elsewhere, our first ever grant in the north east of England was made during 2017, and follows several years’ of fundraising by our local champion, Jen Patterson. The following message sums up the feeling:
Hi Gerald,
My first day back to work today after a couple of day’s annual leave. I’m pleased to confirm that the funds have been received and our patient was able to put these towards a new washing machine, fridge freezer and cooker which will be delivered to his new flat tomorrow – fantastic news!! Thank you for being so helpful, this will make a huge difference to this gentleman’s well-being.
He is very much improved and looking forward to his new start, thank you again for your support, it was very gratefully received.
